Excitement brewed for the Dallas Wings on Thursday during the basketball team’s media day at College Park Center.
The Dallas Wings, formerly known as Tulsa Shock, will play Connecticut Sun in a preseason game at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the center in their home debut.
“I’m excited about this roster,” Wings general manager Greg Bibb said. “We have both talent and youth. We have a nice balance with some veteran leadership.”
Bibb said a bigger market brings bigger opportunities for the Dallas Wings.
“The Dallas market in year one, this is the perfect venue,” Bibb said.
