Dallas Wings defeat Indiana Fever

Behind Azura Stevens’ career-high 26 points, the Dallas Wings (9-8) defeated the Indiana Fever (2-17) 90-63, on Thursday night at College Park Center.

“Honestly, I was just trying to come in and add positive energy to the game,” Stevens said. “We are improving a lot, I think, us being able to get a lead and build on is a really good sign.”

From the tip-off, Dallas took control of the first quarter. Point guard Skylar Diggins-Smith scored the first two points of the game, leading the team to 8-0 start. The quarter came to a close on a 6-2 run with a driving layup from Stevens to make it 20-14.
