The men's and women's cross-country teams competed at the 29th Annual Chile Pepper Festival on Saturday in Fayetteville, Arkansas, netting fifth and 11th overall, respectively.
The men finished with 198 points for fifth place in the Collegiate Division and 110 points for fourth place in Division I standings.
Sophomore Justin Domangue led the Mavericks once again, finishing the 10K race at Avril Park Course in eighth overall, fifth among Division I runners with a time of 30:25.3.
Domangue has three top 10 finishes so far this season.
Next up for the Mavericks was senior Joel Duren, who finished 50th with a time of 31:28.
