World-class boxing took over UTA with seven matches on Saturday at College Park Center. Three of the matches featured championship belts.
The evening started with a four-round bout between two middleweights from Dallas. Darius Bagley (1-0) made his professional debut against Carlos Dixon (1-14-1). Bagley came out victorious in his professional match after defeating Dixon by unanimous decision.
A four-round junior welterweight matchup between Arthur Biyarslanov (4-0) and Solon Staley (1-4) kept the action going. Biyarslanov maintained his undefeated record after he defeated Staley by a technical knockout in the third round.
Nikita Ababiy (6-0) defeated Yunier Calzada (6-6-1) by unanimous decision in the evening’s third contest.
