Pats on the back and attaboys are part of what Bill Reeves is remembered for.
The former athletic director died in early August, and for many, the loss hits home.
“Coach Reeves was such an integral part of UTA for many decades. He helped shape countless lives by his steadfast loyalty, character and integrity,” athletic director Jim Baker said in a press release. “His mark will forever be left on UTA Athletics.”
From coaches to student athletes, the impact Reeves made on the Athletics Department is something that can’t be described but is forever engraved in the minds of those he influenced, peers said.
