Baseball walk-on tryouts will be held Monday at Clay Gould Ballpark.
Players interested in trying out must have a current physical, a proof of health insurance and must be enrolled in at least 12 hours at UTA.
The team is returning from a successful season that was capped off with a Sun Belt Conference Western Division Championship. The team set a program record with 20 conference wins and saw a season that honored head coach Darin Thomas as the conference's Coach of the Year.
Joining Thomas on the coaching staff this year will be assistant coach Fuller Smith to specialize in hitting and recruiting, pitching coach Jon Went and volunteer assistant coach Joel Bocchi, specializing as the catching coordinator.
