Gore and Guanlao are both Sun Belt Tournament Conference honorees, while Thornton is a Baylor University graduate and eight-time Big 12 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selectee.

“The guys have set the goals themselves. They want to be in the top 60 in the country by the end of the season,” golf director Stuart Deane said.
