When sophomore shortstop Josh Minjarez twisted his ankle on March 14, he thought it was just going to be a regular sprain.
After going to the doctor multiple times, he learned he would have to have surgery
"I'll be out for about four months with some ligament tears," Minjarez said. "I won't wear a left shoe for awhile."
When he was first injured, Minjarez couldn't walk, so he knew he'd be out for the game, but when swelling was still there a week later, he thought it might be something more.
"It still looked like I had a baseball in my ankle," Minjarez said.
