While it’s not her traditional green and gold, Liz Cambage will be making her return to the WNBA in navy blue and neon green.
The 6’8” Australian center was formally welcomed to the Dallas Wings on Monday at College Park Center.
“She is one on the premiere centers in the world,” head coach Fred Williams said. “For our organization, this is huge.”
Williams, along with Greg Bibb, Wings President and CEO, decided on the addition of Cambage, not only because of her talent, but her caring personality and focus of youth development in sports.
The pair visited Cambage last December in Melbourne, Australia, to watch her play.
