Taking the next jump from high school to college is an incredibly difficult task. USC has a couple of true freshmen on the roster, though, who appear to be ahead of their years, ready to make an immediate impact for the Trojans.
Having someone who can adjust quickly to the Division I level of play and be an instant contributor is something that is incredibly valuable. Being able to build around a young corps allows for a team to have a sustained output in terms of talent and production for years to come. The sooner someone is able to be counted to execute in the system, the better.
