While the past seasons have not been where they needed to be, USC is actually in a great position at the moment. The way that coach Lincoln Riley has things set up will allow the Trojans to not only be competitive in 2025, but most also acknowledge that the future in Troy is looking increasingly good.
It has to also be remembered that USC was only a couple of plays away, here and there, during the past season from having a respectable record in the first year in the Big Ten.
Fast forward to August, and the way in which the program has tackled many of the issues makes it so that there can almost be an assumed sense of improvement.
