The new college football season rings anew on Saturday at the Coliseum, when the Trojans host another early season Mountain West foe, the Rebels of UNLV. As of Sunday, the consensus USC vs. UNLV odds put the Trojans as a 25.5-point favorite, per Vegas Insider. They opened at 31.5 back in May.
As of 8/26: The Trojans were a woeful 3-10-1 against the spread during last year’s Pac-12 Championship-winning season, in part to a string of tighter-than-expected games. They had to settle for a one-point win over Utah at home, and a five-point squeaker against a shoddy UCLA defense.
