Over the years, USC has never been shy from taking on the all of the juggernauts that college football has to offer. For example, in 2003 the Trojans traveled down South to face the reigning national champion Auburn Tigers, which ended in a 23-0 victory for USC.
In 2008 and ‘09, USC welcomed Ohio State to the Coliseum and then went to Columbus, Ohio, in a home-and-home series which the Trojans swept.
Two years ago, in what ended up being a lopsided defeat for the men of Troy, USC took on coach Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide in the season opener at AT&T Stadium.
