USC moves up to No. 23 in AP men's basketball poll

USC, which remains one of six unbeaten teams in Division I, moved up one spot to No. 23 in the latest Associated Press top-25 men’s basketball poll.

The Trojans defeated Troy on Saturday night, 82-77, rallying from a 10-point, second-half deficit and improving to 10-0 overall. It was only the second time this season they had trailed at halftime.

They did not lead for good until the final minute when a floater by guard Jordan McLaughlin put them ahead, 79-77, to break the tie.

“It will help us mature,” McLaughlin said of the comeback win.
