Keyshawn “Pie” Young is the latest Trojan to be bitten by the injury bug during USC’s 2017 fall camp, suffering a hamstring injury on Howard Jones Field on Wednesday.

The wide receiver injured himself while attempting to catch a pass from Sam Darnold during a passing period partway through practice. He went down in clear discomfort while trainers tended to him on the field. He was helped off the field and stayed on the trainers table for the remainder of the day.

Head coach Clay Helton said after practice that Young strained his right hamstring, but details on the severity of that injury won’t be known until Thursday.
