Update: The early indication is the Trojans are strong in the backcourt, with guards Julian Jacobs, Jordan McLaughlin and Elijah Stewart averaging 53 points, 19 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game. “Our motto is play fast, play smart and play unselfish,” McLaughlin said. “Whoever has a wide-open shot takes it and we hope it goes down.” McLaughlin seems to find a way to get the most shots, of course, with a team-high 27 in two games; Jacobs and Stewart each took 20.
