USC Football: The good, the bad and what stood out vs. Washington State

USC football came into the Coliseum Friday night with almost all of Los Angeles ready jettison Clay Helton. If not USC’s head coach himself, then definitely offensive coordinator Tee Martin, offensive line coach Neil Callaway and special teams coach John Baxter.

After Friday night’s win, you could make the argument that their seats have cooled for the time being. Though if you’re making that argument, you are most likely a type of person who believes “the ends justify the means.”

From my vantage point, the only person who seemed to show some adjustment and improvement this week from last was not any of those previously mentioned coaches.
