USC Football Injury Report: Toa Lobendahn day-to-day (8/29)

USC football’s offensive line health continues to be a worry as the Trojans get ready for Saturday’s season opener against UNLV.

A number of offensive lineman missed time during Fall Camp with minor knocks and the trend hasn’t lightened up much with the arrival of game week.

The biggest worry lies with center Toa Lobendahn, who missed his second-straight practice with a pectoral strain on Wednesday.

Head coach Clay Helton described Lobendahn as day-to-day, but when asked if he is expected to play on Saturday his answer was non-conclusive: “We’ll see.”

If Lobendahn can’t go, it would fall to redshirt freshman Brett Neilon to take the reins on the offensive line.
