USC football waited on pins and needles to hear the prognosis for senior linebacker Jordan Iosefa, who injured his knee during Monday’s practice. Fortunately for Iosefa and the Trojans, the injury was not as severe as was feared.
Iosefa did not tear his ACL, but did dislocate his patella, or kneecap, with cartilage damage in two areas, head coach Clay Helton revealed on Tuesday.

“The good Lord was watching after us and one of the worries of our team,” Helton said.
