FanSided’s third-annual Fandom 250, the ultimate ranking of fandoms, was unveiled Wednesdays and sees USC football fans ranked as the 41st fandom in the world, up 66 spots from last year’s 2017 fan rankings.
The Trojan Family sit 10th among college fan bases, and globally stand ahead of powerhouses like the Los Angeles Lakers (51st), Taylor Swift (53rd) and Liverpool FC (59th). Alabama lead all college fan bases with a No. 2 overall ranking, while the Cleveland Browns took home the top overall ranking.
USC football may be down in 2018, but you can’t argue that Trojan fans are any less devoted to their beloved cardinal and gold above all, which had to have helped the fan base see their highest ranking ever.
