USC football lost Saturday night in the Coliseum to the Cal Bears, 15-14, ruining homecoming weekend. And most likely ensuring that the Trojans will not be bowl eligible in 2018.
It is technically still possible for USC to make it to a bowl game. Though I’ve been saying for the last couple of weeks: Which team on USC’s remaining schedule do you think they’ll beat? Not which team should they beat, but who would they beat?
The first time we asked this question the only answer was Oregon State, and that game has passed. There’s no way you can honestly say you expect them to beat UCLA or Notre Dame at this point.
