This is no news that USC wanted to hear. Trojans senior linebacker Porter Gustin will miss the remainder of the season with a fractured ankle. The news came during head coach Clay Helton’s conference call on Sunday.
Gustin was questionable before Saturday night’s game against Colorado due to an ankle injury during the Arizona game. After the bye week he was good to go, however in the final minutes of the game the senior linebacker exited the game with a very strong and noticeable limp and had difficulties getting off the field.
This is the second season ending injury for the senior linebacker.
