Marques Tuiasosopo set to join UCLA staff

Score one for UCLA.

After two seasons as an assistant coach at USC, Marques Tuiasosopo is set to become the quarterbacks coach for the Bruins.

Tuiasosopo, whose father Manu Tuiasosopo was an all-conference defensive lineman at UCLA in the 1970s, has spent the last five seasons moving around the Pac-12.

He served as a graduate assistant and tight ends coach under Jim Mora at UCLA before he joined Steve Sarkisian at Washington, where Tuiasosopo had played quarterback from 1997-2000.

After a season with the Huskies, Tuiasosopo followed Sarkisian to USC, where he coached tight ends and then served as quarterbacks coach when Sarkisian was fired.
