Redshirt junior to-be Keyshawn Pie Young has become USC Football’s sixth different wide receiver to seek a transfer this offseason.
It’s a move widely speculated since the 2018 season ended seven months ago, but the two-way athlete announced his decision Friday afternoon on Twitter.
While Bru McCoy and Velus Jones landed back at Troy, Young’s upcoming transfer looks to be one for greener pastures with more tangible opportunities at wide receiver.
He did not factor on a single stat sheet during his three years at USC. A versatile speedster with raw potential out of high school, he dealt with hamstring injuries and toss and turned between defensive back and receiver.
