USC football’s tight end position hasn’t exactly fallen by the wayside, but the Trojans in that position certainly haven’t been able to have the impact of past eras.
Maybe that will change in 2019 with the addition of a tight end-friendly Air Raid scheme.

National award voters are certainly set to keep a close eye on at least one Trojan tight end, Josh Falo, who was named to the Mackey Award watch list for 2019.
Falo had 10 catches for 158 yards to lead all of USC’s tight ends in 2018.
