USC has named Jeff Nygaard as the men’s volleyball head coach for the 2015-16 season.
USC is known for its winning tradition and competitive spirit from the classroom to athletics. On Thursday, the Trojans announced that they’ve hired 3-time Olympian Jeff Nygaard as the head coach of the Men's Volleyball Team. Nygaard was welcomed with cheers and positive expectations.
Nygaard is one of the best indoor and beach volleyball player that ever competed, becoming a 2-time collegiate MVP while playing on a pair of NCAA championship teams. The Madison, Wisconsin native played in the 2004 Summer Olympics with partner Dain Blanton in Athens, Greece.
