Players can leave a program for any number of reasons. Sometimes the parting can be viewed as more amicable compared to other situations. Former USC running back Quinten Joyner will unfortunately miss the season, as he suffered a torn ACL injury shortly before the season was ready to start.
The setback took place during a Texas Tech scrimmage and occurred during a non-contact moment, as reported by the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
Although Joyner is no longer a Trojan, many USC fans were still eager to see how he would play at Texas Tech, still rooting for the RB as he was ready to take the field for the Red Raiders.
