Chase Williams commits, signs with USC in Early Signing Period 2018

Make it two Early Signing Period commitments for USC, as Chase Williams joined Abdul-Malik McClain in announcing for the Trojans on Wednesday.

The four-star cornerback was a favorite to sign with USC as soon as he announced his de-commitment from Nebraska in late November, days after officially visiting the Trojans and just before the Huskers announced the firing of head coach Mike Riley.

Williams, who may enroll early at USC, will be able to stay closer to home by picking the Trojans. He hails from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Corona.

Standing 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, Williams certainly fits the bill for defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast, who has prioritized length at the cornerback position in recruiting.
