The Junipero Serra-to-USC football pipeline is alive and well after the Trojans picked up the commitment of four-star cornerback Max Williams on Saturday afternoon.
The Serra star announced his decision to join the Trojans with a commitment video. In a faux-press conference, Williams answered questions on his ability to return from the ACL injury which ended his senior season as well as the importance of academics in his recruitment. Then he presented his mother with a present: A pair of USC hats.
“I’m staying at home,” Williams said. “Fight on.”
Williams is the nation’s 120th-ranked player, per the 247Sports composite.
