With news of a Board of Trustees power struggle at the university level and the turbulent departure of offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury getting 2019 off to a rough start for USC, Thursday proved that things can indeed get worse.
Five-star athlete Bru McCoy is “mulling a transfer to Texas,” Adam Maya of TrojanSports.com reported giving credibility to rumors which had swirled online since Wednesday.
McCoy is the highest-rated player USC’s class of 2019 and is the Trojans’ lone five-star. He announced his commitment to the Trojans at the All-American Bowl on January 5 and enrolled in classes earlier this month, making his about-face quite surprising.
