USC’s best WR in 2017 and quintessential slot WR Deontay Burnett was signed by the Tennessee Titans after going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Deontay Burnett had a very productive 2017 season as Sam Darnold’s go-to-guy putting together 74 receptions for 975 yards on nine touchdowns. The beginning of the season for Burnett started off white hot as caught 24 balls for 386 yards and four touchdowns through three games. Injuries and the return of the rest of the receiving group towards the end of the season saw Burnett’s season end on a lackluster note.
