Trojans Raising $$ to Fire Lane Kiffin

Lane Kiffin has never been loved by any of the fan bases on his coaching stops.

The USC faithful are finally fed up with Lane.  The USC fan base was actually happy to see Lane go to the Raiders after he cost SC national titles with his offensive play calling in the 2005 BCS national title game against Texas and in 2006 with his offense only scoring 10 points against UCLA in the final game of the regular season.  Then when he was hired as the head coach at USC, the only reason anyone surrounding SC was happy with the hire was due to the package deal that included the great and beloved Coach O and the rest of the old staff coming with Lane (not to mention everyone thought Norm Chow was coming back).

It seems that Trojan fans can tolerate the embarrassing antics of Lane when the team is winning.  But no longer are the fans ok with a mid-game switching of a kickers number against a sorry Colorado team, the deflating footballs, or showing up over an hour late to the Sun Bowl banquet.  Further, the more time Lane spends coaching a player the worse the player becomes.  Matt Barkely has regressed with every start this season, and so did his back up Max Wittek.  Robert Woods is not even supposed to be a first round pick, yet he is leaving early to (reportedly) get away from the mess that is the USC football program under Lane.

Some in the Trojan family are starting to take note that Pat Haden may not be the Godsend AD he was thought to be and are looking to help Pat out.

Want to see Lane fired? DONATE TO USC's BUYOUT FUND

Alumni in the Trojan family have set up a crowdfunding web campaign to raise $10 million in order to send a message that Pat needs to at the very least prevent Lane from running the offense in 2013.  These alumni clearly would prefer to rid Lane entirely from the program but they understand that he is the reincarnation of Ron Zook and he can recruit, thus if not for Lane’s last name he would've only risen to his level of competency as a tight ends coach/recruiting coordinator.

If this crowdfunding campaign is not successful, it's scary to think of watching Max Browne in four years performing at his Pop Warner level due to Lane’s “coaching”. Recent (unconfirmed) donors are Peter Carroll, OJ Simpson and Haden himself....
