Though they both entered UNLV in the same draft class, Shakur Juiston and Brandon McCoy shared different philosophies when it came to senior years.
Juiston said, “I never thought about leaving anyway. I always knew I was going to do all four of my years in college […] As far as Brandon, we talked about it, he felt strong about it and I felt strong about it. He’s a hell of a player and can compete at any level and I was confident in what he believes so he went out and did it.”
Just about a week after having his season ended, Juiston announced he was returning to complete his senior year at UNLV.
