Although Rebels women’s volleyball fought hard against the University of Louisville Cardinals, UNLV ultimately suffered a 3-0 loss, landing them the third place ranking in the UNLV Challenge.
In the first set, the Rebels established their defensive presence back row with digs by Riley Jacobs and Leka Kiner-Falefa and front row with blocks by Ashley Owens. However, the set ended with a score of 16-25.
The second set also finished with a 16-25 score in favor of the Cardinals.
After losing the first two sets, the Rebels showed fight in the third and was the first to five points.
