UNLV Women’s Track and Field team continues their prowess in 2019 with another solid showing in the Pacific Northwest.
Mackenna Howard took the spotlight in Seattle as she dominated the weight throwing portion of the UW Invitational at the Dempsey Indoor setting a personal record of 17.99 meters. Her throw helped secure a top eight placement.
This was the second meet in a row that Howard has beaten her personal record of the weight throw topping 17.78 meters from the previous week at Arizona.
UNLV’s Track and Field team was not done just yet as Howard’s teammate Cassidy Osborne-Butler marked 16.
