LAHAINA, Hawaii -- Derrick Jones Jr. had 26 points and 10 rebounds and Patrick McCaw added 25 points for UNLV which pulled away in the second half for a 93-73 victory over Chaminade on Tuesday in the consolation round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
The Runnin' Rebels (4-1) will face No. 13 Indiana, which beat St. John's 83-73, for fifth place on Wednesday.
Chaminade, the Division II host school, stayed with UNLV for about 25 minutes before the Runnin' Rebels used their size and speed advantage to blow the game open.
Jones scored 10 points in a 14-2 run that gave UNLV a 54-43 lead with 12:43 to play.
