After losing three consecutive matches, UNLV men’s tennis barely beat San Diego State University 4-3 on Saturday at its home courts. This win helped the Rebels’ overall record of 10-9 and Mountain West Conference record of 4-2.
The match-up started with doubles play as UNLV’s Jakob Amilon and Ruben Alberts played on court one.
The match began with a tight score. Alberts served an ace for the first point of his service game. The Rebels doubles team held serve and took the lead 2-1.
The Aztecs put themselves up 3-2, but Amilon and Alberts come back to take the lead once again 5-4.
