The defensive struggles continued for the UNLV Rebels football team in its most recent 50-37 loss at San Jose State Saturday, Oct. 27.
Despite having the lead on two separate occasions the team was unable to hold onto it and would go onto drop its fifth straight contest. In addition, UNLV is still looking for its first road win after losing its first four.
The Spartans took a 24-21 lead over the Rebels heading into halftime after taking over with less than a minute to go in the second quarter. Furthermore, UNLV was outscored 26-16 in the second half.
