UNLV football gains second commitment in two days

UNLV has received commitments from two junior college football players.

Fullerton (Calif.) College tight end Tim Holt committed Thursday night, and the Rebels added a pledge on Friday from safety Mike Adams of Laney College in Oakland, Calif.

Holt also had been offered scholarships by Iowa State and Bowling Green, according to Rivals.com, which ranked him as a three-star prospect. Holt (6-3, 235 pounds) visited Iowa State last weekend, and plans to visit the Rebels on Dec. 4.

Adams (6-3, 210) received offers from Houston, Memphis, UNR, Utah State and Wyoming, according to Scout.com.

They bring the Rebels' 2016 recruiting class up to 11 members.
