The Fertitta family has pledged $10 million to the construction of a state of the art football training facility for UNLV, the university announced Tuesday.

The Fertittas are know for owning the Station chain of casinos and were responsible for the rise of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, an mixed martial arts organization that was recently sold for about $4 billion to Phillip Morris.

The facility, which will be known as the Fertitta Football Complex, will be a 73,000-square-foot, two-level complex and will be built on campus in the north end of the team’s practice area, overlooking Ernie Becker Sr.
