• March 9, 2002 — UNLV rallied from a 16-point deficit to come within a point before San Diego State's Deandre Moore made two free throws with 3.3 seconds left to defeat the Rebels 78-75 in the Mountain West tournament championship. The victory also put the Aztecs in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1985.

Feb. 12, 2005 — San Diego State led at home by 18 points with 12:28 left and by 10 with 28.5 seconds remaining. But the Rebels made up the deficit, with Curtis Terry making a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.
