The Rebel women prevailed over the University of Wyoming Cowgirls on Jan. 26, due to many exciting head-to-head races that had viewers on the edges of their seats.
The nail-biting swim meet was enticing and exhilarating, especially as the athletes encouraged each other as well as the attendees to cheer, “Let’s go Rebels!” The positive team camaraderie and sportsmanship was quite evident throughout the event.
The women triumphed at 158 over Wyoming’s Cowgirls with 141. The Rebel men fell to the Cowboys with a final score of 156-140. Before the meet began, Head Coach Ben Loorz and many of the teammates presented the senior Rebels with achievement awards for Senior Day.
