With only 2.4 seconds left of the second half, Patrick McCaw hit a running, buzzer beating three pointer to tie the game 80-80 against UNR on Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Center.
“There was no doubt in my mind that it wasn’t going in, it was going in,” McCaw said.
The Rebel fans went wild, knowing the game was not over and overtime will soon begin.
The Runnin’ Rebels got their sweet revenge over the Wolf Pack from their previous loss in Reno on Jan. 30.
They finished off the Wolf Pack with a score of 102-91 at their home court.
