The UNLV swimming and diving teams had an unfortunate start to their November competitions, as both the men and the women lost to former rivals Utah State and BYU. The women ended the Friday meet against Utah State 96-147 and the men 91-142. Saturday showcased an improved performance for the women, who were down just ten points against BYU: 145.5-154.5. The men were down 127-172.
Diving
Jesse Cawley, a sophomore, was victorious on the 1M board with a score of 298.35. Freshman Tazman Abramowicz placed third in the same event, earning a score of 280.
