After sitting out of UNLV’s win over Air Force on Valentine’s Day, potential All-Mountain West performer Katie Powell returned to lead UNLV in scoring with in the Lady Rebels’ 73-67 win over San Diego State on Saturday Feb. 17.
The junior forward has been no stranger to high scoring outputs this season as she leads the Lady Rebels in scoring with 16 points per game. She had 18 points.
Not far behind Powell both overall for the season and in the game is senior guard Brooke Johnson. Johnson is the Lady Rebels second leading scorer this season, 15.
