A year after knocking them out in the second round of the playoffs, the Golden Knights will once again face off against the San Jose Sharks.
This time, however, San Jose will have home-ice advantage and will be going against a Knights team that has slightly regressed the year following their stunning inaugural season.

Additionally, in the four meetings the teams have had this year, they split right down the middle at 2-2.
