Fighting in front of a lively crowd inside of the Pechanga Resorts Theatre in Temecula, California, 19-year-old Devin Haney (20-0, 13 KOs) put on a masterful display of both boxing and inside fighting by winning a 10-round unanimous decision over rugged Mexican veteran, Juan Carlos Burgos (33-3-2, 21 KOs).
Two of the three judges ringside saw Haney win every single round, scoring it 100-90, while the third official scored it 97-93 for Haney, who lives and fights out of Las Vegas.
What Haney continues to show is the undeniable talent and a ceiling that is extremely high.
