Crawford schools Horn, snatches welterweight title in process

Only five men in history had ever won world titles in the lightweight, junior welterweight and welterweight divisions. Terence “Bud” Crawford can call himself the sixth after accomplishing the feat in front of more than 8,000 boxing fans at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The other five men on the list are Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr., “Sugar” Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jr. (who was in attendance) and “Sugar” Ray Robinson.

“I can call myself “champ” again. Coming into this fight I was the challenger and I didn’t really like that, I wanted the title again,” Crawford said.
