It was a frustrating afternoon last Saturday for the UNLV Lady Rebels, as a meet up with the Colorado State Rams sent them packing with an 83-52-point loss.
Although it wasn’t a surprise, taking a 31-point defeat is very deflating for our Lady Rebels.
The game was uneven after the first quarter. There is a reason Colorado is such a dominant team this season — they left every quarter with a scoring advantage of some kind. Beyond simple point scores, there is a shocking difference in raw stats between these two teams.
Despite an extreme score gap, UNLV and Colorado State didn’t differ heavily in terms of attempted field goals or shots from the arc.
