Former pound-for-pound boxing great Roy Jones Jr. brought his promotion series to the Thomas and Mack Center in the form of a free four-fight card on Friday, Aug. 2.
The card was headlined by a WBC Super Featherweight World Championship fight between Eva Wahlstrom and number one contender Ronica Jeffrey.
“Lots of good talent on the card tonight,” Jones Jr. said. “Eva Wahlstrom is the 130-pound champ and she’s a [woman]. It’s a great opportunity for female boxing and I’m happy to have the main event on the card be [women].”
